Side dishes do not get any easier than this! This simple and tasty broccoli recipe is so comforting and delicious! My philosophy?… Keep it short and simple!
Butter-braised Broccoli
It doesn't get any easier to make a side dish than this recipe for Butter-braised Broccoli. You can use frozen, fresh or broccoli in a bag! Either way it comes out tasty, simple and delicious.

- Sauce Pan or Skillet
- Knife
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh broccoli, frozen broccoli, broccoli in a bag Whatever you have available
- 1/2 cup water (to steam broccoli)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 tbsp salted butter
Instructions
- In a sauce pan, add 1/2 cup of water, and broccoli. Cover and bring to a simmer.
- Once broccoli is simmering, add 4 ounces of butter and salt. Let butter melt over the broccoli and simmer for about 5 more minutes.
- Gently toss/stir the broccoli and serve.
