Instant Omni 11 in 1 oven/air fryer or conventional oven
Air fryer basket or baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Knife
Gallon Plastic Bag
Ingredients
1ripeMango
2teaspoonsTajin flavoring
1/8teaspoonRed cayenne pepper
Instructions
Peel one mango.
Cut mango into bit size chunks/slivers that will lie flat on your air fryer tray or baking sheet.
Place tray into your Instant Omni Plus oven/air fryer and select the "Dehydrate" preset button. Adjust your settings to 4 hours and 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Note: since this is a convection oven it will cook in about 1/2 the time of a regular conventional oven.
NOTE: If you are using a regular conventional oven, place your mangoes onto the parchment lined baking sheet and set your oven to the lowest setting it can go. Many of them bottom out around 170 degrees Fahrenheit. You will cook these mangoes for about 6 hours on that heat setting. Of course, all ovens react differently so make sure to watch your mangoes to ensure they are dehydrated but yet are pliable. Do not over cook them as you want them chewy. They should look similar to this when ready.
In a large 1 gallon plastic bag, add your two teaspoons of Tajin and 1/8 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper. If you like things to be "more spicey" then up that to 1/4 teaspoons of Cayenne.
Place your mangoes in the plastic bag and shake, shake, shake until they are all coated.
Take the mangoes out of the plastic bag and let them air dry. For best results, wait about an hour. I just couldn't resist so I ate some of mine right away and they were still delicious! Enjoy!
