I had some leftover spaghetti sauce and wondered, “what could I make to use up this sauce?” In the freezer was a packet of Celentano’s Frozen Cheese Raviolis. I decided to bread these and fry these up and lo and behold, it made a wonderful side dish/snack. Try this recipe and see how they turn out for you!

Equipment
- Frying Pan
- Vessels for a dredging station (3 of them)
- Plate with a paper towel to drain or a wire rack
Ingredients

- 1 serving of your favorite marinara or spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup milk

- 1/2 cup oil or use your deep fryer
Instructions
- In one of the dredging vessels, combine milk and egg and whisk together.

- First put your ravioli into the flour and coat completely. I did three at a time.
- Next, put your raviolis into the egg/milk mixture and coat completely.
- Next, put your raviolis into the bread crumbs and coat completely.
- Carefully put your ravioli into a medium high pan of oil or deep fryer and cook for 2.5 minutes on one side and 2.5 minutes on the other side. Once again, I did 3 raviolis at a time.
- Repeat the same steps for the rest of the raviolis. Once all are cooked, sprinkle lightly with grated parmesan cheese.
- Warm up your favorite marinara or spaghetti sauce and serve along side.

What a great idea! You didn’t thaw the ravioli?
Hi Julie! No ma’am. I did not thaw them before I breaded them. The natural condensation on the raviolis made the flour stick better too!
